Our ministries

  • Care Ministry is responsible for the physical and financial care of the pastor. This ministry is composed of two parts; the love committee which will bless the pastor for his birthday, anniversary, and Christmas The servant ministry will fill a need for the pastor ie. Birthday celebrations, purchasing gas, dry cleaning, handling pastor anniversary and banquet.

  • The word Deacon means servant or ministering servant. Deacons serve by conducting benevolent work, visiting the sick, and being alert to the spiritual and physical needs of the congregation.

  • Deaconesses prepare the communion elements, assisting with baptismal preparations, and counseling or mentoring young women in the church and the community. Deaconesses also visit the poor, sick or elderly, and provide comfort to those in mourning.

  • Trustee boards are in charge of budgetary matters within a church. The board defines the budget and appropriations at the beginning of each year and develops a uniform system to accept offerings and donations, pay bills and make purchases. All revenues and expenditures are documented by the board and evaluated periodically during trustee meetings.

  • This ministry will create fundraisers and projects to raise money for the ministry.

  • Church ushers ensure a smooth-running church service and minister to people in a variety of practical ways. The specific responsibilities of an usher include greeting people as they arrive for the service, assisting people with special needs, and receiving the offering.

    Assist with funerals.

    Take up offering when asked.

  • Handles all food preparation for various events at the church. Serves healthy and nutritious meals to members and guest, and responsible for cleaning up after meal service.

  • Music Ministry is a service to God that supports the sermon by leading the congregation through song and worship.

  • Youth Ministry will focus on Bible teachings, Service/Outreach, and Activities.

  • The Finance committee is apart of the trustee board but their functions are solely to count money after church, make bank deposits, process payroll checks, and Accounts payable/receivable.

  • Purpose is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone you meet; through personal witnessing, and sharing the word of God. To provide spiritual, educational, and social events and activities throughout the community that will promote Godly relationships.

  • Leaders are responsible for all members in their birth month. Leaders will develop ways to raise money to contribute to the building fund.

    Disciple Leaders will contact any members that have been absent, sick, or in need by sending cards or flowers.

    When someone from the group passes away the disciple leader will have the responsibility of taking food to the bereaved family.

    Disciple leaders should attend funeral services of their members.
